The Mayflower Resolution

Whereas a joint resolution by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled on Oct.4, 1982, authorized and requested that the President designate 1983 as the national "Year of the Bible," in recognition of both the formative influence the Bible has been for our nation, and our national need to study and apply the teachings of the Holy Scriptures;

Whereas we see that the failure to heed this exhortation to "study and apply" the teachings of Holy Scriptures has led to the increase of crime, immorality, broken homes and juvenile delinquency, witchcraft, blasphemy and treason in our nation not only since 1982, but also, long before that;

Whereas the noble efforts of many conservative Christians in the political arena such as Jay. Sekulow, D. James Kennedy, James Dobson, Pat Robertson, David Barton, Don Wildmon, Alan Sears, Bill Bright, Josh McDowell, and Phyllis Schlafly, Beverly LaHaye, Alan Keyes and others, have worked faithfully at bailing water out of our sinking ship of State;

Whereas the many fine attributes of our U.S. Constitution have worked to obscure and cause many to overlook the "leaking hole in the hull" of our ship of State left in it at the Constitutional Convention in 1787: namely Article VI;

Whereas Article VI states: "The Constitution and the laws of the United States which shall be made in pursuance thereof; and all treaties made, or which shall be made, under the authority of the United States, shall be the supreme law of the land; and the judges in every state shall be bound thereby, anything in the Constitution or laws of any State to the contrary notwithstanding.

And "The Senators and Representatives before mentioned, and the members of the several State legislatures, and all executive and judicial officers, both of the United States and of the several states, shall be bound by oath or affirmation to support this Constitution; but no religious test shall ever be required as a qualification to any office or public trust under the United States."

Whereas it is obvious from the most superficial reading of the Constitution, from the Preamble to the 27th amendment, that it is impossible to achieve the goals of the Preamble in the absence of the mandatory foundation for the achievement of said goals; to wit: the study and application of the teachings of Holy Scriptures; the Preamble states: "We the people of the United States, in order to form a more perfect union, establish justice, insure domestic tranquility, provide for the common defense, promote the general welfare, and secure the blessings of liberty to ourselves and our prosperity, do ordain and establish this Constitution for the United States of America."

Whereas no mention of the word of God, Jesus Christ and the kingdom of God is made in the Constitution, ("If the foundations be destroyed, what can the righteous do?" Ps.11:13); ("For other foundation can no man lay than that is laid, which is Jesus Christ." I Cor 3:11); not first place, second or third, not even honorable mention.

Whereas preceding Civil documents accorded His Majesty First-place:

"Having undertaken, for ye glory of God, and in the advancement of ye Christian faith, .... a voyage to plant the ye first colony in the northern parts of Virginia ...." from the Mayflower Compact 1620;

"Whereas we all came into these parts of America with one and the same end and aime, namely to advance the kingdom of our lord, Jesus Christ, ...." from the Articles of Confederation 1643;

"...and well knowing where a people are gathered together, the word of God requires that to maintain the peace and union of such a people there should be an orderly and decent government established according to God, to order and dispose of the affayres of the people ....; we do therefore ... enter into combination and confederation together, to maintain and preserve the liberty and purity of the Gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ which we now profess ..." from the Fundamental Orders of Connecticut, 1638.

Whereas it is obvious that Article VI has created an open door for the free entrance at the federal level for any number of wicked rascals as president, vice president their appointed cabinets, Senators and Congressman and their staff, with Supreme Court justices and their staff, (see David Barton’s documentation of the track record of the federal judiciary run wild in "Original Intent")

Now, therefore, be it:

Resolved by the undersigned citizens of Arkansas that we hereby petition of our state and national representatives,

To rescind or amend Article VI of our Federal Constitution and any similar open doors in our State Constitution;

To support House Bill 1146 By Ron Paul of Texas to withdraw our nation from the United Nations;

To work with the Citizen’s Committee in drafting appropriate legislation for Christian requirements for public office holders by election or appointment;

That appropriate legislation, in line with Christian principles, be examined concerning abortion, rape homosexuality and lesbianism, marriage and pregnancy outside wedlock, pornography, "gangsta rap"and other vile "music," witchcraft and Satanism;

Remembering this: that our "security" does not depend upon large armies and navies, but upon obedience to our Heavenly Father and his Son. The blessings and curses are outlined in Deut. 28. Yahweh " raised up adversaries " to ancient Israel and Judah when they went into idolatry. Making alliances with and taking "common cause" with the heathen, always brought Yahweh’s rebuke and judgment; Yahweh is sovereignly sufficient to protect His people without resorting to unholy alliances or taking common cause with the heathen’s programs of idolatrous worship and blasphemy.

Our alliance with the U.N. has brought an avalanche of ungodly filth and blasphemy into our nation, with attendant curses.
